Join Beth Tikkun as we dig into Torah portion Noach. After a brief description of a wonderful trip to South Africa, we step into the parshah through the observation that both the names Elohim and the holy four-letter name for God occur in Noah’s story. The observation leads to a brief exploration of how God’s mercy is pictured in the ark. Moving on, we trace the four occurrences in the Torah of the phrase spoken first to Noah, “Make for yourself…,” finding a wonderful progression there.
