2 Timothy 1a
Join us as we begin exploring the book of Second Timothy. In this first teaching, we cover the first 10 verses of chapter 1. Focusing on verse 3, we ask the question, “How could Paul say that he had a clear conscience?” In pursuit of an answer to this question, we examine both the Greek and Hebrew words translated as “conscience,” and we present the need for a Hebraic balanced understanding of two areas of awareness: 1) continual awareness when we do right and wrong, and 2) continual awareness that God is sovereign and has planned our lives as part of the grand story He is telling.
