Our emphasis in 2 Timothy 3 is “the Last Days.” We begin by refreshing several mentions of the Last Days from the prophets. As we look at evidence for the spirit of the Last Days in our own times, we read the lyrics of a song made popular by Whitney Houston in the 1980’s. Moving on, we take a special look at the Greek word “patience.” Finally, we examine Paul’s touchstone description of the Scriptures as being profitable for teaching, exposure, correction, and training in righteousness.
